Dear friends! The movie “The Square” by Vary Yakovleva (Yakov Krugovy) – students of the course “directing animation films” at the festival Insomnia 2017.
The video for the festival “Insomnia 2017” was made by Ivan Maximov – master of directing the School-studio “SHAR”.
“Insomnia” (Insomnia) – the first non-commercial festival of animated films in Russia, taking place in the open-air format. For the guests of the festival the best domestic and foreign animation will be presented. Each night there will be shows of various festival programs provided by the festival’s partners-the Suzdal Animation Festival, the Annecy Animation Festival (France), the Great Animation Festival, and the original program of the Insomnia Festival.
During the day participants attend master classes, lectures, listen to music, look at art objects and just relax in nature with nice people. All participants and guests live in tents.
In 2017 the festival will be held from 13 to 17 July.
